President of the Stretch for Change Foundation President of New Era Las Vegas
Minister Stretch Sanders is not only a minister but also a Community Organizer, author and husband. He was born and raised by his single mother in Chicago, he later relocated to Las Vegas to escape the violence plaguing his community.
Minister Stretch also serves as the President of The Stretch for Change Foundation and New Era Las Vegas. The Stretch for Change Foundation is a Las Vegas 501c3 that focuses on empowering the Black Community. They focus on poverty, social justice and helping the community in all ways possible. “New Era has a nationwide goal of helping to create a Black-owned community through grassroots resources and collective buying power. As the founding president of New Era’s Las Vegas chapter, Sanders has organized protests, hosted barbecues and fed community members in need. “New Era is living proof that if you just get out and do it, it can be done,” Sanders says.
Minister Stretch has been organizing numerous events, activities and rallies in the Las Vegas community since 2014.” – Las Vegas Weekly July 23,2020
One of his biggest accomplishments outside of serving as the President of The Stretch for Change Foundation and New Era Las Vegas is when he successful organized 6,000 people on June 5th, 2020 for the Black Lives Matter anti-racism rally held in Las Vegas.
Minister Stretch believes he was born to serve, and he will do so until he is called home.
