With the sudden resignation of a City of Las Vegas Councilman, the City of Las Vegas held a Special Election for Ward 5. In conjunction with The Urban Voice, KCEP 88.1FM, and the Clark County Black Caucus held two candidate forums, where members of the community had the opportunity to dialogue with the candidates. Several hundred members of the community were present at each event.
